Kids bathroom remodel

This summer we decided the kids bathroom needed a facelift.  David and I had so much fun picking out the flooring and paint.  David was pretty awesome his first time tiling the floor. We went with a nautical theme for the bathroom and have been loving it!

Road Trip

We said good-bye to grandma and grandpa and headed to Colorado

The car always puts him right out--even in the middle of lunch.

We hit some big rain/wind storms in Wyoming

We got to stay at the Higginbothams in Thornton (near Denver)

and had so much fun catching up and playing!

We then stopped in Colorado Springs to visit with my favorite cousin Tracy (Sargeant) Phillips.

Sleeping in a hotel in New Mexico was an adventure.....

SO happy to be home!

Oh MAN this was such a blast!  This was our kids first experience at an amusement park (roller coasters!) and we had so much fun!!

Utah Summer Trip

After Elise was here, she drove back up with us to Utah.  A few spilled drinks, Anna using the restroom on the side of the road and name that movie tune were the highlights of the road trip

It's not summer unless Elise does Natalie's nails.

Another popcorn bar at Scott's house for the 4th of July!  He put on QUITE a show and we were all showered with firework shrapnel

We went out to Deer Creek with Debbie and Lynn.  Love them so much, especially with how they love my kids.

Cousins!

We LOVE cousin time!  We got to have Claire and Nina over for a few days and it was so much fun! Evan and Nina are close in age and I love watching them together.

We played Name that Tune for FHE--they spun in the chair to see how many notes they'd get.

We went to Mesquite Groves to swim.  It's a city pool that has big slides and also a playground in the pool!

Elise was with us and it's a party when she comes!

She fell in love with Crackers, our hamster!
