Family Pictures 2014

While the Christensens were in town we begged my sister Debbie to take our family pictures.  She is a great photographer and I've always wanted her to do our pictures.  I was BLOWN away by how amazing the pictures were and what a great studio team the Christensens were!  I need them to be at every photo shoot for our family FOREVER.

They kept the kids entertained between their turns and helped everyone smile and be happy--it was amazing!!

Thanksgiving 2014

Our family was very blessed that The Christensens came for Thanksgiving.  We LOVE spending time with them and had so much fun!  We ate, played, watched funny shows, shopped, crafted, and laughed and laughed.  Great memories.

There is always nail painting going on when Elise and Natalie are around

I asked Cyrena to make some place cards for the table.  I love her drawings

Evan was gooey-eyed for Lynn the entire time.  Any time Lynn walked in the room Evan just melted and begged to be held.

SUCH. GOOD. FOOD.
Except the rolls, they were a fail.  I attempted a new recipe--big mistake.

Cousins!

PIE

These kids attempted to sleep on the trampoline one night but only lasted until about midnight then it was too cold.

We went to see the temple lights at the Mesa Temple. These are always a treat.  So beautiful and perfect.  And great that we can wear short sleeves!

Road Trip with the Girls

David's baby sister Emily was having a baby boy!  So the big girls and I decided to drive out for her shower.  It was a quick trip but so much fun.  It was great to spend time with Emily and see her so cute, happy and pregnant.  And it was good to have time with just my 2 big girls on the road.

David's mid-life birthday

David turned 35 and called this his mid-life birthday.  I said, "hey I don't like that you're only planning to live until 70!!"  He's too funny.  And we adore him.  He had a happy birthday filled with good food and lots of attention.  Just what he wanted.

Halloween 2014

We did some intricate pumpkin carving this year.  The kids had fun with that.  For our costumes we went with a Little Red Riding Hood Theme.  It fit our family perfectly and was so easy to put together.
