David captured this 'money shot' of Anna giving us one of her sleep smiles. She is so adorable. I love these smiles because they give me a glimpse of the future.
Anna loves the bottle. I was brave enough a couple days ago to say "I don't enjoy nursing" It was going fine but I just really don't enjoy it. And since I know a happy mom=a happy baby, I decided to stop. So for now I am pumping exclusively and it's going well! Cyrena is loving feeding her. In fact, Cyrena fed her 3 times yesterday. When I asked her if she wanted to take some of the night feedings, she said "of course!" Hahaha. Anna also loves her pacifier and does a great job keeping it in already. She uses it to fall asleep for naps. She is really filling out; multiple chins, arm and leg rolls, etc. It's awesome! She's 2 weeks old today and is such a good baby. We are loving her!

I enjoyed nursing Kieran & McKenna. Liam & Nolan were not easy to nurse. With Liam I toughed it out determined to prove I could do it with Nolan I just flat our gave up around month 3. Then I dried up almost overnight.
It is definitely more important that you feel happy & if nursing is not a happy experience then it will make for a fussy & unhappy baby as well. So good for you for recognizing what was best for you & your baby.

Oh she is adorable! Can't wait to meet this sweet little girl and introduce her to our sweet Vivienne - I hope they become the best of friends! :)
You know how I feel about nursing and you KNOW how I feel about happy moms!! No guilt only pleasure and having others help feed the baby is pure pleasure!

Oh Jenna, she is beautiful! I love the name Anna. I have a granddaughter by the same name and she's a doll too. You're smart not to nurse if you don't enjoy it. I was the same way. Congratulations! You have a darling little family. I love reading your blog! Sheree Peterson
Gorgeous baby! And kudos to you for stepping up to the "nipple nazis". Nothing against nursing, if it works out then awesome, but the idea of nursing at all costs (namely your sanity!) is nuts and hurts more than it helps.
I am so excited for you and your family! Enjoy that sweet little blessing!
